My name is Artomie Dixon, and I’m a proud native of Wynne, Arkansas, with a deep love for basketball and a passion for developing children both mentally and physically—always with a strong spiritual foundation. I attended school in the Wynne district before continuing my education at Bethel University, where I played collegiate basketball and earned both my Bachelor's degree (2012) and Master's degree (2014). I bring several years of coaching experience, including serving as the assistant varsity and head freshman coach at Lausanne Collegiate School from 2014 to 2021. During my time there, I was proud to be part of a two-time state championship-winning team. I also served as the head coach for HoopCity Elite’s 15U AAU team, and from 2010 to 2014, I led my own AAU team named Team Dixon, which competed in multiple championship tournaments. Following college, I began my professional career in Special Education with the Memphis-Shelby County Schools (MSCS) system in 2015. Through that work, I’ve seen firsthand how qualities like respect, dedication, hard work, teamwork, and good sportsmanship not only define great athletes but also contribute to academic success. My mission is to develop well-rounded student-athletes who excel in basketball, academics, and character. I strive to bring out the best in each player by enhancing their skills and deepening their understanding of the game. Ultimately, my goal is to empower young athletes to become strong competitors, responsible citizens, and impactful leaders in their communities.
